I'm a bit shocked at how long we still have to wait! Not having paid much attention to dates and having my head filled with so many deadlines, I never realised it's still 3 months away! Shocked

It does mean I save money then, which hopefully I'll need to pay for a ticket Wink

I might be way off here, but there seems to be a bit of a theme coming out in the lyrics....

A real desire to become the band that they always dreamt they would become. Maybe for James to become the songwriter he always felt he could/would become.

Take "Boy In Waiting". Apart from the obvious title, lyrics like: "I wanna write the one that cuts just like it should" really evoke that feeling for me. Or the album title track "All The Plans". Here's an excerpt of the lyrcis as transcribed by board member "mojopin":

no rhyme or any reason
to stay up on the shelves
we are much to young
for anything to break
and all the plans we made

And then the (partial) album cover that we have seen. A young boy with rock star shades on. Whether its an old picture of one of the band I have no idea. But again it gives that impression of someone dreaming of what they hope to become in the future.

Or even "Tell Me Its Not Over". Whether I'm taking liberties with the interpretation of the song title or not, it could easily be applied to Starsailor's musical career in the last couple of years after the commercial problems of "OTO" and the subsequent label delays.

What does anyone else think? Agree/ diagree? Or am I the only geek who thinks about these things?!? Very Happy

More Matey, you are not the only geek to think about these things but its way too soon to be discussing the album theme, I've not even heard it for a start!

I can see where you are coming from and you may have a point but the tracks I've heard indicate something different. However, until I hear the whole album I don't want to speculate. So ner.

Really interesting ideas Morematey. The art work is really intriguing isn't it. Like Emma, I've got some ideas too, but I want to hear the rest of the album before I formulate them - OMG I'm such an English teacher! Wink
